So anime goes underground again in the States. With a little more awareness and more fans than it used to have, but still. It's going underground again, for better or worse. SciFi channel isn't exactly mainstream, and neither is the FUNi channel.

Part of the aftermath of this: CN-RP will not get Code Geass. As it's a Bandai dub (Johnny Young Bosch and Yuri Lowenthal!), there's a chance we'll see it next year on Animax, which would be a much better fate than hearing Lelouch in TAGALOG! (Ako si Zero! Magsiluhod kayo sa akin, mga mangmang!)

Original Unaired ADV Dub Cast [for Gurren Lagann], Brett Weaver-Kamina, Josh Grelle-Simon, Luci Christian-Nia Teppelin, Tiffany Grant -Yoko Littner, Brittney Karbowski-Kinon, Chris Patton-Rossiu, Greg Ayres-Gimmy, Hilary Haag-Darry, Jason Douglas-Kittan, John Gremillion-Dayakka, Kira Vincent-Davis-Kiyal, Mark X. Laskowski-Leeron, Monica Rial-Boota/Kiyoh, Vic Mignogna-Viral

Granted I liked the Vic as Ed, but goodness I couldn't imagine him as Viral. I couldn't even visualize Greg Ayres as Gimmy.

In the current Bandai version J.Y. Bosch is Rossiu. ANIMAX, hear my plea! AIR THE BANDAI DUB HERE!! Please say Gurren Lagann is in the 2009 lineup! I miss Rossiu something bad already. ^^;;

I doubt the capacity of this laptop's memory. Besides, officially it's not my laptop. ^^;

I won't resign them to hell yet, but it's terrible of them, yeah.

*faints*
First they made a mess of adult swim (Bleach at 11pm and Code Geas and Moribito at 5am, now this (although Naruto has been alone for some time now). They have been my anime source for years. I can't even supplement with the on-demand feature, it's subscription only and cable is too expensive to upgrade.

Re: *faints*
Jest rent DVDs from the nearest video rental store?

Don't worry, I feel your pain. (Code Geass is a show that's easy to love and easy to hate, hehe.)

*sigh*
The fact that Code Geass is almost finished, and being so far ahead of DVD releases on Bleach and Naruto is what makes this so unfair.
The last time I was in a video rental store anime was nearly non existant(wonder if its improved?).
